Things to know when ordering with Shelby Equipment

When ordering with Shelby Equipment it can help both you and us to follow a few easy steps. If you can follow these directions then the time it takes for us to complete your order will be dramatically reduced and is more likely to be completely accurate. As always, if a problem or misunderstanding should result in you receiving the wrong product, then we will correct the situation in a swift manner and get you what you were really looking for. Now, on to our helpful suggestions:


When Ordering Parts From Shelby Equipment:

1. Make sure that you have the year, make, model, and SERIAL NUMBER of your machine ready. Without this information it is very difficult to help you find the right part due to the fact that depending on the serial number of your machine, a part can be one of several part numbers, even if they have the exact same model number. Having this information ready for us helps speed up the process of finding your part, and helps us accurately fill your order by getting the correct part number.

2. Know the PART NUMBER you are looking for. If we don't have to spend time researching what part you need, we can get you a quote and order your part in a timely fashion and have it on the way to the address you provide us. This cuts your downtime and allows you to get back to work instead of being on the phone. If you don't have your owners manual handy, or have lost it, that's okay because they are now available online. You can find them from our Resources page, or HERE: ONLINE OWNERS MANUALS. Just click the button in the middle of the page. From here simply select your Brand, Make, Model, and correct serial number range and you will have a complete breakdown of both parts list and diagrams to help you find the exact parts you need. Many times this can even keep you from ordering more than you need by seeing how the parts are broken down. IF YOU CANNOT FIND the part number for what you are looking for, give us a call and we will do what we can to help you identify what you are looking for. If this is the case, please expect the process to take longer as we will have to research your particular machine to identify the part you need. At this point we will call you back with a part number and quote but this will take time.

3. After the part number has been identified, we will be able to provide you with a quote for that part. Just let us know how many of each part you need and we will let you know what its going to cost. From here we can fill the order or wait for you to look at other options while we await your call back.

NOTE: We will not be able to calculate EXACT shipping costs until the item has actually been shipped. Often times items are shipped from warehouses in OHIO, but it will still be shipped directly to the address you provide to us. Please allow for adequate pricing based on this information. We can and will be able to accommodate your many shipping needs as we have various shipping carriers and methods available to us. Just let us know what you desire.

When Ordering Equipment From Shelby Equipment:

When inquiring about equipment with Shelby Equipment, please allow for slightly more time for each transaction than for parts. Typically we will listen to your needs and then do the proper legwork required before calling you back with a quote. However, if it is a used machine that you find on our website, sometimes this process will be shorter. Once we can get the cost as low as possible on a machine, we will call you back and go from here. Typically we can have this done and call you back on the same day of your inquiry. Although standard, we do ask that you allow for the factors in place with ordering equipment and plan on a more significant time frame for completing these orders than would take to fill a parts order.
